Hila Baggio has recently performed a terrific staged Pierrot Lunaire and proved herself as a highly versatile and intelligent artist.
PIERROT LUNAIRE / MORGAN LIBRARY NEW YORK (2016)
Porter would have admired Baggio’s way of joining legato notes into long phrases, her accuracy in the few notes Schoenberg designated to be truly sung,
her attention to the natural stresses of words, and the way her highest notes did not turn sour when they were loud.
LE NOZZE DI FIGARO / ISRAELI OPERA (2015)
Hila Baggio, who was brilliant in "L'elisir d'amore" this season, continued to lead perfectly in the role of Susanna by controlling the sophisticated nuances, moments of anguish and poetry that the role offers her.
Hila Baggio, who is always a pleasure to listen to, is really charming in the role of Susanna and demonstrates spectacular vocal capabilities.

Among the singers, Hila Baggio, as Adina, was particularly outstanding.
Her bright soprano, effortlessly climbing up even to the highest notes without becoming strained or shrill, combined with flexibility of tempi according to the text’s emotional significance,
and her meticulously polished coloraturas were a pure joy to hear.
The most successful was the Israeli soprano Hila Baggio in the role of Adina, with her glamorous voice and captivating performance.

As Norina, Hila Baggio stole the show. Her lovely soprano climbed effortlessly and lightly even to the highest notes. Her brilliant coloraturas and enchanting stage presence, personal charm and combination of youthful freshness with mature professionalism were a pure pleasure to hear – and behold. These characteristics revealed her as a singer and actress of stature.
Best of all was the Israeli Hila Baggio in the role of Norina. She has a natural flowing Soprano, her coloraturas are pleasant, not pushed, and her acting is convincing.
Those were brought on to stage especially by Hila Baggio, whose passionate Soprano matched perfectly Donizetti’s writing for the role of the young widow, Norina.

There was some impressive singing too especially from Hila Baggio as the vixen. she has a light, sweet voice that was beautifully flexible...
As the vixen, Hila Baggio deployed a bright, vibrant soprano that kept its sheen at all dynamics....

RIGOLETTO / ISRAELI OPERA (2012)
It is difficult to remember when such a moving and perfect singing was heard on stage.
Baggio is the grand success of the evening.
Excellent Israeli Soprano Hila Baggio handled Verdi's coloratura in a natural, convincing way...
She has now reached the peak with the extremely demanding role of Gilda which she did with full mastery of both lyrical and coloratura soprano ranges and delicate expression, complemented by her charming stage presence.
The star of the evening is without a doubt Hila Baggio as Gilda.
An incredible Soprano with pure and nimble coloratura that succeeds with her singing and acting to convey the story of the heroine.
The special quality of this production is based on the soprano, Hila Baggio, who portrays Gilda. There is something about her voice and stage character that contribute something unique to both of her partners. From my perspective, thanks to her it would not have been a mistake to call this opera "Gilda."
After these comes Gilda's great aria in which Verdi issues his soprano an extreme challenge of vocal pyrotechnics. A bravura turn, Baggio sings this coloratura segment with minimal effort, as if presenting the musings of a young girl daydreaming of love.

LA FILLE DU REGIMENT / ISRAELI OPERA (2011)
The real discovery of the production was the young Israeli Hila Baggio. She had sung several coloratura roles such as Olympia, Rosina and Despina, but she has reached her apex as Marie. Her light coloratura voice was fresh and bright, easily producing the light staccato so essential to the role, with constant attention to accurate intonation of every pitch. This was matched by her youthful and lovely acting. Baggio made the sensitive distinction between the coloratura fireworks and the two exquisite soprano arias, Il faut partir in Act 1 and Par le rang in Act 2 when she changed her voice quality to that of cantabile lyrical soprano.
DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE / ISRAELI OPERA (2011)
Hila Baggio was a good Lyrical Soprano as Pamina with a fresh, rich and beautiful voice and graceful acting.
Without a doubt, Hila Baggio as Pamina brought the most impressive Vocal presence to this production.
